ReadMe.TXT for !SAGEClus and SAGE Data !SAGEClus is a complete application suite for cluster analysis and presentation of SAGE data, and includes all the SAGE libraries that are analysed in "Regulatory T cell and dendritic cells in Transplantation Tolerance: molecular markers and mechanisms" by Cobbold SP., et al, Immunol. Reviews, in the press (2003). This program will only run within the Virtual Acorn A5000 emulator and will not run directly under any version of Microsoft Windows or Macintosh operating sustems. The programs can only be run natively on Acorn or other RISC based PCs running RISC-OS versions 3.1 and above, but requires 16Mb or more of memory. This folder should be copied directly to the Apps folder inside the Acorn HardDisk4 folder of the Virtual Acorn emulator program (that has normally been installed inside the Program Files folder of the PCs Local Disk C:). The name of the folder must not be changed from !SAGEClus (must include the initial exclamation mark) for it to be recognised as an application suite by the Virtual A5000 emulator. Full Help is available from within the application itself. For further information on Virtual Acorn and RISCO-OS for PCs see: Virtual Acorn 86 Turnberry Home Farm Bracknell Berks RG12 8ZH Tel 01344 452868 e-mail: info@virtualacorn.co.uk http://virtualacorn.co.uk/ The SAGE libraries are also available in tabulated MS-Excel format in the file: excelSAGEdata.xls and as individual libraries from the NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus with Accession Numbers as listed in the file: Table1.PDF. Chart1.PDF contains a coloured profile chart of approximately 600 SAGE tags mapped to known genes of immunological interest. Steve Cobbold. May 2003.
