Sample Submission - It is adviseable
to contact us before starting experiments requiring proteomics. We can
give advice and provide protocols. Samples should be submitted by
bringing them to the CPF in the Sir William Dunn Pathology School, along
with a completed sample submission form, which can be downloaded below,
and a purchase order number (for departments other than the Pathology
School).

- PLEASE AVOID SUBMITTING SAMPLES CONTAINING NP-40, TRITON AND OTHER
DETERGENTS CONTAINING POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL CHAINS. THESE CAN CONTAMINATE THE HPLC SYSTEM
AND BE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. IN ADDITION THEIR PRESENCE GREATLY REDUCES THE NUMBER OF PROTEINS IDENTIFIED IN A SAMPLE.
IF IN DOUBT PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR SAMPLE AND WE CAN ADVISE ON SUITABLE ALTERNATIVES.
