Example Data - This area is under construction. Its purpose is to give example experiments and an idea of the sort of data which can be produced.

Experimental Aim: ID protein interaction partners

Workflow: TAP tag/FLAG tag/Co-IP, followed by GeLCMS using LC MSMS Orbitrap. It is possible to run a control IP and perform a differentail analysis between the IP and the control IP.

Results: you can routinely expect tens to a couple of hundred proteins to be identified. We have software to enable you to compare a control to an experiment and work out QUALITATIVE differences between the two samples. We will shortly place some experimental data here.

Time & Cost: From the Gel this experiment takes the facility two to two and a half days to complete. Cost; £400 internal (£440 external).

10fmol BSA standard - We routinely QC the LC & Orbitrap using a 10 fmol injection of a BSA tryptic digest standard. Click here to see a MASCOT report for a typical BSA standard. Sequence coverage is typically in the 45% to 60% range and the MOWSE score ranges from approximately 800 to 1200.
