The Analysis lab is located in the Old School Building on the first floor (214.20.06). The main door is open between 9.30 and 4.30 during the working week, outside these times you will need your University card with authorised access (to get access contact nigel.rust@path.ox.ac.uk).
I will be available to help in experimental design and problems and for individual tuition by arrangement , other help will be available at experimental convenience (sort experiments usually start at 11.00 and last for the rest of the day). Please would all new users come and talk to me about training before they wish to use the instruments.

From now on, CHARGING will be on what you have booking, (work sheet will be used to confirm usage).
So unless you wish to be charged for not using the instrument, do not over book, and work to time .
When the instrument forms are completed and signed, they should be placed in the Green Box file in the Lab.
If you have any difficulties when I am not available please an email me, in this way all faults will be receive attention as soon as possible.
The computers are all on the net ( except ImageStream, for which you will need your own external Hard Drive{1Tb}), this will enable you to transfer data and print, where you wish, (please ensure that you close the link after data transfer on the net). There is a Colour printer located in the room. The safe storage of your data it is your responsibility, the hard disks will be cleared periodically .

All experiments using the MoFlo Legacy require me to operate the instrument. Please use booking request in the online dairy ( please state the grant code when you book) as this will also enable the instrument to be correctly configured for your experiment. It should also be noted that experiments with infectious agents are not permitted on this instrument and that all experiments should be assessed for aerosol risk prior to booking.
